Greetings and welcome to the Southeastern Region website!
We hope you find our website to be informative and beneficial. Let me start by expressing how truly honored I am to have been elected to serve the Southeastern Region as its Regional Director. Words cannot express my sincere appreciation and thanks for your unanimous support of my candidacy. I am both energized and excited about the prospects of leading our great sisterhood during the 2009-2011 program year.
EXCELLENCE WITHOUT EXCUSES will be our theme, our mantra for 2009-2011. The way I see it - there are many ways that this theme can drive and energize the work of the Southeastern Region. Just think about it . . . As we work to strengthen the capabilities of our sister Chapters, we will begin the process of “EXCELLENCE WITHOUT EXCUSES” flowing through each and every one of our chapters. By continuing to develop strong programming that is meaningful, purposeful and sustainable – we will in fact provide services necessary to our local communities. Finally, if we are true to the basic foundation that is the cornerstone of this great organization, we will strengthen the bond and continue to strive with “EXCELLENCE WITHOUT EXCUSES” to one another – sister to sister – Chapter to Chapter – Continental to Continental.
As your Southeastern Regional Director I will demonstrate my commitment to EXCELLENCE WITHOUT EXCUSES by:
Ø Providing sound leadership and solid direction
Ø Faithfully and honorably executing my duties and using my skills to ensure excellence in chapter development, sisterly relations and program delivery
Ø Facilitating the development of processes necessary in ensuring efficiency and accountability in Region business functions
Ø Never losing sight of our collective abilities
Together we will stand on the shoulders of our founders and strive for Excellence without Excuses.. Thank you for the opportunity to serve. I am honored.
