Our newest member, Carolyn Burkes, a member of the Continental Societies for approx 1 year and a half has really jumped in given forth a great effort for our chapter.  We really appreciate you Continental Carolyn Burkes.

George R Moore, Sr retired from the LaGrange City Council after a tenure of twelve years and two months on Dec 31, 2007.  Moore was elected to the council four terms and served as Mayor Pro Term in 1999 and 2005.  Retirement Reception was given by the 100 Black Men of West Georgia and the City of LaGrange.

Lana Rucks Moore received her PH.D in Experimental Psychology from the Ohio State University in March 2008.  Lana resides in Huber Heights, OH with her husband, Dr. Edmund Moore and two daughters Mackenzie 6, and Madison 3.   She is the daughter in law of Mr. George and Ruth Moore.
